Sunday School
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES AVAILABLE | SUNDAYS @9:30AM
At MFA, Sunday School is one of our most important ministries. It is in Sunday School that people of all ages learn about God, the Bible, and God's will for each of their lives. Sunday School is important because of its basic purpose - Christian education. In a Sunday School class, students are given the opportunity to ask questions, discuss, and share personal insights and experiences as they study the scriptures. Our Sunday School is age specific, which is why we divide students according to their age, interest and education so that they can get the maximum benefits from each lesson. Being a part of a Sunday School class enables believers to understand what and why they believe, and to learn to stand on a firm spiritual foundation.
Small Groups
MFA Small Groups exist to help believers develop depth of relationship with other believers through fellowship with one another. Spiritual growth takes place in Small Groups as believers study the Bible and grow in connections with one another regardless of different backgrounds, gifts, experiences, and levels of spiritual maturity.
Dr. Bilezikian said it best, "It is in small groups that people can get close enough to know each other, to care and share, to challenge and support, to confide and confess, to forgive and be forgiven, to laugh and weep together, to be accountable to each other, to watch over each other and to grow together. Personal growth does not happen in isolation. It is the result of interactive relationships. Small Groups are God's gift to foster changes in character and spiritual growth."

Grief Share
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. Our Grief Share helps you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each Grief Share session has three distinct elements: Video Seminars, Support group discussion with focus, Personal study and reflection.
What To Expect At Grief Share
WHO SHOULD COME … WHO SHOULD NOT
Grief Share is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. We understand that there are other losses in life that create feelings of grief. You might be experiencing a job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move. This grief is real, but it is not the kind of grief discussed in Grief Share sessions. We encourage you to ask a pastor, counselor, or church leader for help in finding resources that will be of specific help in your situation.
What To Expect At Grief Share
- You’ll discover there are people who understand your hurts, emotions, and painful experiences.
- You’ll learn helpful, practical information that will help you recover from the pain of grief and loss.
- You’ll have the chance to talk about your experiences.
- You’ll have a workbook for personal study and to write down things you’ve learned.
- You’ll begin to gain closure in your loss.
- You’ll become part of a “family.”
- You’ll discover hope for the future.
